Brentford's finest Kurupt FM are back with another hot single, this time by way of 'Dreaming' featuring Birmingham's Jaykae and Mist. The track follows the release of their Craig David collaboration, 'Summertime'. Now the garage legends, comedians and 'People Just Do Nothing' mockumentary creators are gearing up for the release of their debut album, 'The Greatest Hits (Part 1)' set to release on the 20th of August.
Despite their obvious comedy angle, the Kurupt FM crew always deliver an authentic Garage, Grime and early Jungle experience with all of their work. From the soundtrack to their 'People Just Do Nothing' mockumentary to their original music, authenticity and homage to the traditions to the genres always reign true. 'Dreaming' is no different. The track pays tribute to and samples Gabrielle’s 1993 R&B classic "Dreams". MC Grindah and the features glide elegantly over the garage beat, creating a summer and USB ready party track.
'Dreaming' is also accompanied by an animated visual by Wild Child, which sees each individual member enter a planet of their dreams.
