Whoever said seasons could not be identified by sound has obviously never heard of Spanish DJ JOHN TALABOT. His newest sound '08-01' is the artist's own Birthday present to himself, an unheard track on his very special day reminding everyone about the joys of summer.
TALABOT once again incorporates an exotic cultural background into his music which has helped shape him into the successful producer he is today. The beginning of this track starts strong with a fiery percussion section whilst sharp xylo strokes complement electronic synth bangs.
As the release continues, more drum beats begin to play creating a summery and hip-swinging track. The demo can even be considered a slowed down electronic salsa as the blended drumming of sounds create this infectious rhythm.
What can we say? We love this!
