Having been crowned Triple J’s Unearthed High winner earlier this year, young producer Gab Strum aka Japanese Wallpaper continues to dazzle with his latest single ‘Between Friends.’

Here is a song that enters the ears and quickly finds a place to nestle inside the heart. Jesse Davidson’s tender vocals hang, moving in and out of Strum’s swirling production while soft bloops and friendly tings shimmer over gentle thuds and clacks. ‘Between Friends’ sounds like a precious light in the dark, a favourite star in the sky.
