Live Review: No one can resist the Four Tet Club Cut of Jamie xx's 'Seesaw'

We certainly couldn't resist the collision of Four Tet and Jamie xx for this joyous new mix.

"This is another version I did last year to DJ with... different drums and mix and arrangement."

As far as tweets go this one from producer FOUR TET was one of the better to hit the twitter-verse as of late. The track he is referring to is a club version 'Seesaw' off of the 2015 Jamie xx release, In Colour.

This track has been making the rounds in various incarnations for a good long while from its debut on Sydney community radio station FBi back in 2014, when Four Tet, Jamie xx & co took over afternoon programming.

The always heart warming and distinguishable vocals from Romy have kept pretty consistent to the original mix taking on an atmospheric and almost instrumental tone. The hero of this track is in the swirling synth line which Four Tet has put at the front and centre throughout giving this mix a more blissed out quality.

Given that it is the 'Club Version' the base line is kicked up a notch but still remains really approachable. The mix went down just as well blaring through the bedroom, in the shower, on the bus and in the workplace as I am sure it will for weeks to come.
