Live Review: LISTEN: James Blake 'Retrograde' (Loston Rework)

James blake has had his famous track 'Retrograde' reworked by newcomer Loston.

There's not much I can decipher about LOSTON, but we can say that his music is amazing. His latest offering is a rework of JAMES BLAKE's famous track 'Retrograde' and it kind of blew my mind.

His soft vocals float over humming synths and a slow clap that plays throughout the track. JAMES BLAKE knows how to make things sound smooth and sombre, but LOSTON has taken 'Retrograde' and turned it up 150 per cent.

It starts nice and gentle, similar to the original mix that JAMES BLAKE has become known for. Soon something repeats and builds up to a massive boom of synths that just wake up right up out of your sombre slumber.

LOSTON has just added a stellar remix to his back catalogue and I can't wait to hear more of what he has to offer.
