Brisbane based producer HARRY FOX is back with new single ‘Destined’, following the release of his debut EP Circles at the end of 2018. Self described by Fox as falling somewhere between the styles of RL Grime and Odesza (some very solid influences there indeed), ‘Destined’ is what could only be described as a serious dance floor banger, making it a far cry from some of the artists’ moodier tunes as seen in the EP.

Featuring the artists' trademark genre-bending sound, mixing trappy horns with a sneaky jungle twist, 'Destined' is a testament to Fox’s versatility and skills as a producer and musician. Having worn the gloves of a DJ, keyboardist, drummer and everything in-between, it's clear Fox now knows how to best channel his creative energy.

As mentioned, ‘Destined’ comes off the back of a landmark year for the artist, who saw the release of his first EP as a solo producer, play his first headline show complete with custom lighting displays (lit)  and spend some time over in the UK doing big things (but more of that goss to be revealed in the future!). The tunes’ robustness and confidence sets the tone for 2019, with Harry Fox hoping for big things to happen.

“This track sounds how I feel about this year. Big, confident, ridiculous energy. This track was born to powerfully open my live sets and I plan to take it to some big stages sometime soon. 2019 is going to be a whole level up and ‘Destined’ is my way of saying I am not playing around. I’m here to explode.”

It’s a ticking time bomb for Harry Fox and his fans, with clearly a lot more to come from the artist before the year is out. In the meantime, you can check out our 2018 interview with Harry Fox for some more insight.
