Live Review: Harris Robotis ‘Dance All Night’ Ft. Franke Pharoah

Harris Robotis' latest single ‘Dance All Night’ features Franke Pharoah. It’s taken from his forthcoming EP of the same name to be out through Sweat It Out!

Sweat It Out! have quite a family under their roof. Spanning many years, the tastemaker label are well known for having an incredibly diverse roster, one that’s still growing too.

HARRIS ROBOTIS is one of these artists. Half man, half robot, he’s mastered his own niche brand of dancefloor friendly club tunes. This may or may not be a direct reflection of his incredibly creative intuition (he runs a graphic design business), but we can definitely conclude that he’s got a killer mind.

The track itself is a cool mix of acid house and a Disclosure-esque feel within its core.

The synths are well balanced, a spotlight roaming over the track’s fundamental composition and not really focusing on one aspect too much which is important.

I particularly love how he’s executed the percussion. It’s clean, crisp and classic, leaving heaps of room to reminisce, but also works so well in driving this track forward.

Harris Robotis’ sound is inventive and hinges on an array of inspiration. You can tell from the get go that he’s a man of incredible creativity.
