Genre breaking duo Friendships mark their return with massive new track, "When I Feel Like Killing, I Murder".

Continually pushing, or in this case completely smashing boundaries, FRIENDSHIPS are known for doing things a little differently. Such is their latest release, When I Feel Like Killing, I Murder - an all out jungle rave jam that has come from out of nowhere and straight to a dirty, grimy club near you!

Combining abrasive styles, elements of dub, jungle, and even early rave influences, FRIENDSHIPS are back with a bang in this latest track! Slightly unnerving and omnious, the intense track is controlled chaos at it's finest, and a massive step forward in FRIENDSHIPS' already accomplished game!

Starting with a crisp beat, an echoing, distorted male voice growls lyrics like "When I feel like moving, I move" - seemingly innocent and simple lyrics that makes sense and are totally normal day to day actions - until he says "And when I feel like killing...I murder" It's here things take a turn for the wild - jungle drums and bangs, bouncing synth bass jabs and cries from the murderous male intertwine as things get even more intense.

The track works it's way along, picking up speed and almost crashing in on itself as it races ahead. Lasers fire as the track descends even further into primal chaos. Frantic and tense, When I Feel Like Killing never lets you go, and instead grabs you by the shirt and forces you to plunge down further with it.

FRIENDSHIPS have released this off the back of their successful US tour, and recent signing to MOM + POP imprint MERMAID RECORDS. This is an impressive new venture for the pair, and is hopefully indicative of what we can expect still to come from them!
