Sydney-based artist Frames has recorded a mix for Triple J in his living room that featuring some exciting new tracks.
Sydney DJ/producer/FBi Radio host FRAMES has certainly been busy in the studio lately. He just released 'Slow' via Sweat It Out, an alternative version of the 2003 KYLIE MINOGUE track and has also been working on an EP with ELIZABETH ROSE under the name GLAS.
Last weekend FRAMES recorded an exclusive mix for Triple J in his lounge room, featuring a great selection of old and new tracks from artists including HANNI EL KHATIB, KRAAK & SMAAK, JACQUES RENAULT and the brilliant collaborative effort between SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO and BICEP.
Throughout his career he has supported electronic heavyweights EROL ALKAN and JIMMY EDGAR, played at some of Australia's biggest festivals such as Splendour And The Grass, Laneway Festival and Future Music Festival and even got hooked up with a tour of the USA.
Take an hour out of your time and enjoy this lush mix from FRAMES and if you like what you hear (which I'm sure you will), head down to see him up close at one of his remaining gigs before he heads off to Europe.
