EROL ALKAN has been on the scene for quite some time now but it is the Spring of 2013 that he has chosen to step out and release long awaited solo material. 'A Hold on Love' is from ALKAN’s forthcoming EP 'Illumination' and is certainly one to get you in the mood to dance with its fresh and electric rhythm.
The beat starts strong and hooks you almost immediately with a consistence and deep drive. What is so unique about ALKAN is his ability to keep a beat constant whilst integrating other elements into the sound without overdoing it.
This is one of the catchiest rhythms I've heard in the past few months and will without a doubt leave you in the mood to party. “Illumination” is set to be released on limited edition vinyl in late November and digitally on December 2nd.
