With the announcement of debut EP Laurie Came Home EASTWARD releases the single 'Golden Morning' featuring Emily Lubitz, an interesting blend of acoustic and electronic music that will almost certainly captivate you.
Listening to this was great as it subverts the expectations that you have at the start of the track by building upwards with more and more sounds until it explodes into a synth and vocal heavy track, Eastward shows his love of guitar driven music and electronic synths by giving both in equally interesting ways. The production is great throughout and the vocals build along with it by the addition of more effects and more overdubs that give the track just a bit of added punch. 'Golden Morning' is not only interesting but it's also well executed.
