Hashtagged with #sophie’s one of my favs, you know basically straight away that it’s going to be either a banger or somehow even beyond that.
DIVERSA has dropped about 10 or so tracks on their SoundCloud over the last few days, and ‘Transcode’ is one of these.
Clocking in at an unfortunate 1 minute and 30 seconds (I say unfortunate because it’s actually ridiculously huge), it somehow panders you into hitting play another 12 or so times once it’s finished.
There’s no slow start, it jumps straight in from the get go, and the production behind this is actually pretty crafty. It’s a slow fade volume wise on the way in, but as soon as the bass hits, you know it’s only up from here.
DIVERSA’s hit the nail on the head with that nod to SOPHIE, because this one has the energy of a Sophie track, but the style of Diversa.
