DISCLOSURE are doing a fantastic job at keeping us all well and truly hooked for their forthcoming new album, ENERGY. They've released a steady stream of new singles, including the title track and the Slowthai/Aminé collab 'My High', and now they're back again with another euphoric, uplifting jam.
Titled 'Douha (Mali Mali)', this time the pair tap Fatoumata Diawara for collaboration. If her voice sounds familiar to Disclosure fans, it's because she also featured on their 2018 single, 'Ultimatum'. On 'Douha (Mali Mali)', her vocals are so warm and joyous, amplifying the already uplifting track courtesy of the Lawrence brothers. It's a glistening new addition to the steadily unveiled album, which is now shaping up to be one of this year's finest dance records based on what we've heard so far.
Alongside the single, the brother duo have also shared some absolutely glorious visuals, directed by Mahaneela. Of the clip, the director said, "Right now, all over the world, we're going through an incredibly strange time. I wanted to make something that was visually beautiful, but also felt symbolic of what we’re all going through.
"People feel more isolated than ever and I wanted to create something joyful that really shows the power music and movement has and the connectivity it brings.”
