Though he lives so far away, we won’t hold it against him, his music far makes up for the distance anyway. Dean Custom is his name and he dwells in the city of Rotterdam located promptly in the Netherlands.
Custom’s style of music falls into a category that you don’t just listen to but which you feel. It has a carefree and ebullient nature that can actually be felt moving from your ears and throughout the body in a wave of trilling synth and quick beat. Other artists that share this similar talent are Custom’s buddie’s Wave Racer and Sable and it’s a great talent to have.
'An old track updated over time' and a prime example of this talent comes through Dean Customs recent release ‘Glossy’, which is a fast-paced, high energy mix delving on the electronic surfaces of hip-hop and future bass.
An incredibly versatile track and including some sound sample classics the track provides groomed build-ups and some massive drops for all those dance and doof junkies out there.
The trilling chimes, driving beat and core melody all contribute to the atmosphere this track creates; bright, fluffy, dancy and light-hearted. Concluding that Deon Custom really is the master of creating upbeat vibes.
2014 was a busy year for this talented producer having released an EP titled ‘Bliss’ but 2015 may perhaps be even busier. With a growing fan-base and a unique talent that only a lucky few have he is sure to heat up the electronica scene.
