CONFIDENCE MAN's track 'Out The Window' gets a flip from ANDREW WEATHERALL and GREG & CHE WILSON and bring out the chugging feel good grooves.

CONFIDENCE MAN has quickly become a huge name across the world for their irreverent lyrics, high energy performances and campy stage personas. Having released their debut album this year, Confident Music for Confident People, they are currently on an enormous UK and European tour after a sold out national tour back home. Their current big single, 'Out The Window', is one of their more low key tracks, reminiscent of old school DEE LITE and laid back house energy. Recently, the band has enlisted ANDREW WEATHERALL and GREG & CHE WILSON to put their own spins on the track, tasked with remixing and extending those vibes into chugging, feel-good grooves.

Delivering his second remix for the group, Andrew Weatherall knows by now how to flip the kitsch of Confidence Man into dance floor gold. The track emphasises the euphoric choir of voices in the main refrain, their warmth alongside a surprise string section cushioning Janet Planet's and Sugar Bones' crooning overtop. The build of repeated synths and a shaker + kick combo creates a cozy beat you could get lost in sidestepping on the dance floor to for the full seven minutes.

Greg & Che Wilson bring a whole new mood to the track, channeling an unseen funk through 'Out The Window'. With the inclusion of a break beat and groovy bass line, the whole track shifts, slowly growing into the song we know with sprinkles of the original's vocals and piano chords. Sugar Bones put it best explaining his feelings about the remix, “We've always been upset that we missed our chance to party at the Hacienda. At least we can have the satisfaction of one of the Hacienda greats adding a hefty dose of anthemic vibe to our latest track. Now we just put it on, close our eyes and pretend we're back there on that sweaty dance floor.”

The Brisbane/Melbourne four piece has tapped into something special with this project, a kind of nostalgia mixed with a cheeky love of partying and good splash of humour. Along with selling out shows all over Australia, Confidence Man are crushing the international festival circuit too, bringing their peppy performances to audiences all over Europe and the UK. Their references and addictive grooves catching the eyes of dance music greats like Andrew Weatherall and Greg & Che Wilson is just further proof that they've got something special and deserve to be more than confident about it.
