‘I Stay Out Of It. I Cook’: Even After 13 Years Between Albums, Coming Up With A Karnivool Setlist Remains Quite The Feat

Live Review: LISTEN: Clubfeet 'City of Light' / 'This Time'

We debut new Clubfeet double A-side 'City of Light' / 'This Time'. A new fifth member, and greater texture cant wait for their late-2012 LP

Guys, its been a bit of a wait. The last time we heard anything from the Melbourne/Capetown outfit CLUBFEET was two years ago when they released their debut Gold on Gold. But fear not, our patience has been rewarded with Clubfeet releasing the double A-side of  'City of Light' / 'This Time'; and alongside Stoney Roads, PURPLE SNEAKERS are the first in Australia to be debuting it.

The dreamy indie-pop, mellow synths, percussion, and the totally understated melodies that populated their debut are back,  but with a greater texture. Something the band has achieved thanks to the inclusion of a new member fifth member, allowing for live drums and double the synths.

Keen Clubfeet fans should also be happy to know that a second full length is in the works with producer Victor Van Vugt (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Depeche Mode), with a release is expected in the later half of 2012.

Check to the new tracks bellow, and know you can also purchase the singles on iTunes; and for my fellow vinyl lovers out there you can also pre-order the 7" via TOO PURE SINGLES CLUB.
