Live Review: Listen to Chris McClenney's 'Confession'

Purple Sneakers Artist To Watch In 2017 and all-around musical prodigy CHRIS MCCLENNEY has released ‘Confession’, the latest solo release since his outstanding debut EP, Portrait In Two.

Off the back of features and collaborations with ELUJAY, VICTOR OLALEKAN and a recording session as part of Spotify’s Singles series including a beautifully laid-back cover of CHILDISH GAMBINO'S 'REDBONE', McClenney is back writing, recording, producing and mixing his own music!

‘Confession’ aligns itself with the messages heard throughout the EP. It tells the story of a contemporary romance over head-nodding, driving percussion, plucked organ chords and oscillating synth plucks. The chorus harmonies layered over the powerful sub-bass tie the track together neatly, reiterating why Purple Sneakers highlighted McClenney as one to watch this year.

Chris McClenney has once again shown us his musical brilliance through 'Confession'. Look forward to more features, collaborations, production credits and hopefully, more solo work from McClenney in the remainder of 2017.
