Live Review: LISTEN: Cast of Cheers Remixes

Getting to know THE CAST OF CHEERS can be problematic at the start. Firstly, by typing just their name into Google you are more likely to learn about Ted Danson before you will the Irish quartet. But when you finally get to them there is a lot to like.And we here at PURPLE SNEAKERS aren’t alone; the guys have been getting a lot of airplay on local radio with their tracks ‘Family’ and ‘Animal’.

In my obsessing over The Cast of Cheers I ran into two killer and totally different remixes for their track ‘Animal’. TROPHY BOYFRIEND have transformed the track into one I want to running through the rye in the afternoon sun with the cutie-pie by my side. Conversely, with a throbbing sci-fi beat and more dethatched vocals the SLEEP THIEVES’ edition is more like the formers darker, broodier brother.

A bit of yin and yang in music is hardly a bad thing.
