Linkin Park On 'From Zero' & Their Return To Australia: 'We're More Assured That This Is What We Want To Be Doing'

Live Review: Caius 'Things Gonna Be Okay'

19 year old producer from Copenhagen Caius has released a very groovy but very chilled track, 'Things Gonna Be Okay', showing potential beyond his years.

19 year old Copenhagen producer CAIUS only has three tracks to his name, which have been released over the past four months. However, the quality of these three tracks surpass any expectation you'd have for someone so new - especially in regards to his latest track. 'Things Gonna Be Okay' is accomplished, refined and smooth, showing huge promise for currently anonymous producer.

Working with only a few elements, it's simplistic on first listen, but that's what makes it so impressive. Creating a track with such depth by only using a select few elements is where Caius' skills lie. Knowing just how much is enough, he is able to create a soundscape that has room to move and groove, without ever sounding too sparse or too cluttered.

Starting off with gritty feedback and muffled chatter, muted keys and echoing vocal samples singing the track title, the chilled out grooves of the track are apparent within seconds, and continue as the track slowly builds. Whether it's the hip hop beats, the subtle synths or the funk bass line, the track keeps this groove without ever breaking through.

Perfect for a sunny afternoon or a rainy day, Caius keeps it chill whilst keeping it fun and groovy. Preferring to hide his face behind a green square in all of his photos, Caius should enjoy his anonymity while it lasts. Tunes this nice can't stay hidden for long!
