Live Review: Feel the 'Change' with BAYTEK

Handing out the last track to his latest EP, Rise, BAYTEK reveals a more subtle tone to his music with 'Change'.

Handing out the last track to his latest EP, RiseBAYTEK reveals a more subtle tone to his music with 'Change'.

Following several national tours, massive releases and remixes, Baytek has been working on another electronica-dance collective. Known for his deep, bass-driven club vibes, the legend indulges us with his signature sound for his latest EP, but with a couple of surprises. The three-track EP comprises of 'Deadbeat', a repetitive ultra-cool bass heavy track, as well as 'F**k What You're Thinking', a super punk attitude rap piece with Baytek's classic dance beats.

The last track to follow a popular pair of tracks comes 'Change', with an unexpected feature of Ives seductive vocals. A tamer track of Baytek's usual style, this release reveals a different side to his musical talents. With subtle percussive and synth patterns, Ives vocals are the focal point of this work. In turn, created is a darker, emotive piece. Let Baytek take over your emotions in this one!
