I love hearing a crisp new sound, particularly when the day’s coming to an end. This gem just popped up on my Soundcloud feed, and I’m so glad that it did.
Arches and Karen Harding teamed up for ‘New Love’, but since then, KOKIRI has taken it into their hands and given it new life.
If house and disco were chefs and decided to team up for some out of this world dish that’ll leave your tastebuds pining for more, Kokiri is the resultant meal.
Cheesy, greasy and extremely slick, Kokiri’s take on ‘New Love’ features a gorgeous early house piano sequence that really throws it back for me (think Marshall Jefferson).
It’s crisp, concise and could make anyone want to get up and dance. Get on it.
