ANIMAL COLLECTIVE are an experimental electronic/folk/pop/rock basically everything band. The group is made up of a quartet of quirky individuals but don’t be surprised if this changes, partially during their live shows.
Collective was chosen for a reason as they ‘always wanted to be the ones who define what and who AC are. Two people? Four people? Why not?’
Today’s Supernatural is a crazy carnival ride featuring a piano accordion (at least that’s what it sounds like), keyboard, drums, cowbell and intriguing lyrics.
It’s sharply layered and with each listen you’ll discovery new instruments, chords, riffs and melodies. It’s easy to find yourself focusing on one or two particular elements of the track. However, I wouldn’t recommend a listen before your morning coffee!
