Album Review: Lewis Watson - The Morning

Watson’s debut album follows his success on YouTube and prominence on iTunes – the places where his young audience discovered him.

Being a sensitive acoustic strummer with a strikingly lovely voice, this is his first chance to prove his full credentials. Like Ed Sheeran and Passenger, Watson takes imple songs and through some great production makes them into more than their parts. Into The Wild is one of the best tracks for showcasing Watson’s great sense of melody. The other highlight is Outgrow. What Watson lacks in lyrical depth he makes up for in passionate delivery.
