The debut album from producer Chaz Bundick will put the bump in your trunk.
The songs were inspired by a series of artworks, particularly those of American graphic designer Paul Rand, and were produced in Bundick’s home studio a few years ago. Michael is a fittingly tight and eclectic listen, benefitting from its long gestation period and guest appearances. Nate Salman brings soulful energy to the bubbly Why, the funkiest song on the album, while the grunting hip hop samples on Talk About and Bother are perfect slices of dancefloor sass.
