Perth is fortunate enough to boast an incredibly fruitful punk and hardcore scene, with countless quality acts emerging on a regular basis. No small contender for a forerunner position in the near future, Leeches! have just released their debut album, and it goes down like a big ol' helping of moonshine able to strip paint. This reviewer's picks would include Cracked And Broken, Creep and Media Frenzy, admittedly for all the same reasons – the energy is colossal. Impressively fitting ten tracks onto a 20-minute album, Lords Of Dullsville is one head-butt to the face after another. User discretion warning – watch out for broken noses.
