Live Review: BIGSOUND Live: L-FRESH The LION

Man, I am not a hip hop guy. I am not a beats guy. I am not a guy who knows where the groove is.

But I do know. Despite all that, I know where a beat should go. Where the hip and the hop should go. Where the groove goes. Yeah, fuckin’ A I do. It’s the blues, it brings that stuff home. Makes it innate.

L-FRESH The LION has that beat. He also has the blues, but not many of his drunk, white audience would ever realise that. L-FRESH The LION is a bluesman. Hard to see, but definitely there.
