Kitten N' Lou: Holier Than Thou

American gay-married drag duo Kitten N' Lou returned to Fringe with a holy bang. For Holier Than Thou the pair give the Bible a close inspection, from Moses to Mary, concluding that the good book is clearly very gay.

A mixture of comedy, cabaret and burlesque, Kitten N' Lou entertained the crowd from start to finish with Adam and Eve skits and videos of the duo visiting and 'reinterpreting' various holy paintings.

The chemistry between them was infectious and it's clear as day these two were made to be together, on stage and in life. The amount of time and effort that was put into costumes was incredible, especially the burning bush and the glitter-foiled insect costumes they used to portray the flies that came aboard Noah's Ark to escape the great floods.

These two brilliant women have created a show that is pure genius. Hats off to this beautiful super couple who know how to entertain, seduce and still be true to themselves by stripping away all the unrealistic expectations of the world while still smiling.
