A soft and delicate hour-long listen
In a career spanning over two decades there isn’t much Joe Henry hasn’t accomplished – a world-renowned artist and Grammy-winning producer, Henry even wrote the score for Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up. Having literally “been there and done that” he’s taken the liberty of making an intricate, emotive record in Invisible Hour, his 13th solo album. A soft and delicate hour-long listen, it’s designed to be coupled with a quiet afternoon. However, some might lack the patience to give the album the multiple listens required to adequately understand its character and depth.
