"It's a neat but chaotic jumble of an album that oddly stacks up on the whole."

Suave indie-rock is the bread and butter of Melbourne's Jarrow, and it's served up with aplomb.

There's just a whole bunch of interesting textures, tones and changes in pace that break up 2003 Dream and lift it far above the more stock-standard releases from his peers. Opener Cube sets things up in a bleak light with moody guitars and Dan Oke's twangy drawl, but then the upbeat Mutual Feelings races along with a noodley motif followed by House M.D. in similar vein. It's a neat but chaotic jumble of an album that oddly stacks up on the whole.
