On Super Low Boyd's swapped the more raucous fun of previous fare for a sharp melancholy, where beautiful, considered portraits of people and places spill abundantly in Boyd's knowing and expressive voice. Street Side Blues and Frustrated With You are downbeat perfection, but the whole album's pretty goddamn special.
