Live Review: Interpol's Paul Banks to Release Solo EP

With his song 'Games for Days' being featured on Skins, Paul Banks is set to release another solo EP, Julian Plenti Lives.

Paul Banks, frontman of seriously moody indie rockers Interpol, has announced a solo EP to be released on June 12. It's called Julian Plenti Lives..., the second solo release from Banks; the first being Julian Plenti is...Skyscraper.

With a "beautiful, brooding" single, an instrumental, and covers of Frank Sinatra, J Dilla, and Harold Faltermeyer (all of whom have had a profound influence on Banks), Julian Plenti Lives...looks set to be the opposite of Interpol.

While there have not yet been any singles, check out ...Skyscraper's 'Games for Days', which was featured on UK show Skins.
