I Know LeopardSydney-based band I Know Leopard are the sound of summer.
Released just in time to coincide with the change of seasons, this celestial collection centres around nostalgia and second chances. "Hits me like it's a memory," frontman Luke O'Laughlin sings on the opening lines of Close My Eyes, serendipitously describing both how their music sounds and the familiarity it entails. "I'll make up for my mistakes in another life," he sings on Another Life, while Spaceships pegs its hopes on extraterrestrial intervention. Perfect Picture is all sunshine and sincerity, rounding off the most wistful indie-pop release of the year so far.
