Live Review: We have HIGH HØØPS for 'Burn It Up'

HIGH HØØPS is an Australian producer who is part of the group LEISURE and has just dropped the funky single 'Burn it up'.

HIGH HØØPS aka Jordan Arts is a producer from New Zealand who is also part of the group LEISURE and has just dropped the funky single 'Burn It Up' - a new smooth track to keep you going through summer. The track is being put out by New Zealand record label A Label Called Success.

HIGH HØØPS brings elements of funk, soul and any other smooth music you can think of on this track. It starts off with crisp drum hits before introducing some smooth keys and bass licks. The song has some repetition which it uses to build up a breakdown at the end of the song that brings the track together by bringing in some guitar and laying down some funky riffs.

The vocals on this track are soft, almost like they are trying to whisper the lyrics right into your ear. It would be an understatement to say the vocals mesh well with the production because both elements are intertwined so perfectly, it's hard to hear them ever be apart.

The art provided as the song cover is fitting in a way that this music makes it feel like it's the perfect song to bump while driving in a warm sunset. HIGH HØØPS has brought something warm for your ears this summer and we hope that Jordan puts out more music soon.
