Given the ancient Egyptian Imhotep's reputation as one of the greatest brains in human history, you might expect an album in his honour to have a less grammatically shonky title.
Nonetheless, this release raises the bar for the insanely prolific Jamal "Hieroglyphic Being" Moss personally and arguably for dance music as a whole. Highlights include the twinkling star-gazer grooves of the mesmerising title track and the disgracefully humid funk of Nubian Energy, which should cause all sorts of carnal mayhem when unleashed in the right company.
