Ebbing and flowing in great warm rushes, this release solidifies the slightly mournful, delicate brand of songwriting for which Calnin is becoming known.

This local artist's slick sophomore EP provides perfect 'headphones music' in the vein of Bon Iver – distant and restrained, but interesting. Calnin's expressive, malleable vocals greatly enhance his solemn mode of storytelling, as when they melt seamlessly into the atmospheric swarm of sound in I Corrupt. Emotive ballad Coward is littered with the tinkles of chimes, occasionally punctured by a thunderous drum roll. Ebbing and flowing in great warm rushes, this release solidifies the slightly mournful, delicate brand of songwriting for which Calnin is becoming known.
