Doom metal, sludge, stoner rock — whatever you want to call it — low-to-the-ground, groovy metal has become increasingly popular.

It’s become increasingly difficult for bands to stand out, but Hang The Bastard’s blend of blues-rock, doom and black metal is sure to do just fine. The album is packed with juggernaut riffs and tortured, scorching vocals, with an ebb and flow lost on a lot of newer doom acts. Hang The Bastard are here to bring the evil back to heavy metal. If they don’t usher in the apocalypse first.
