We kicked off the summer season over the weekend, and I don't know about where you're located, but where I am in Sydney, it was a sweltering coupla days. I guess it was lucky then that we had a guest mix coming in from Melbourne's VEGAS COLLIE as his selections were the perfect way to kick off the silly season.
The producer/selector has gone from strength to strength since relocating from Sydney to Melbourne. It's been a journey for him, but he's coming out on top playing gigs across town at some choice venues like New Guernica and honing on his own production too.
With a run of tracks under his sleeve including a hi-fi lo-fi house jam in 'Simple Pleasures' and some seriously lush, slick sounds on 'Only Good Shall Come', there's so much in the works for Vegas Collie, but this guest mix he's delivered for us is a cheeky lil insight into what he's vibing at the moment and hopefully the kind of sound we can expect from him in future.
Give this one a spin at your next pre's or while you're soaking up some of that summer sun while lying on the beach.
