Live Review: Party with MIMI and her booming guest mix

CRXZY SXXY CXXL is a Melbourne party collective that focusses on hip-hop, amazing themes and decorations (like massive "DIDN'T THEY TELL YOU I WAS A SAVAGE" posters in the club) and all round good times. Helmed by DJs Jade Zoe and Mimi, the duo have blazed a trail in Melbourne, carving out their own space in the booming late-night club scenes there. Now, with a crew of loyal followers and fans behind them, they're branching out and bringing their CRXZY SXXY CXXL party all the way to Sydney. Having witnessed the mayhem that comes with a Mimi set, all I can say is, Sydneysiders - get ready.

Heralded as one of the most exciting DJs in Australia right now, Mimi's resume is about as long as one of her famed set lists. From support slots for STEVE AOKI, to festival slots at Beyond The Valley, Listen Out, Secret Garden and more, to more official afterparties than you can shake a stick at, Mimi is the real deal. Her sets are made up of nostalgic hip-hop and new school tunes, melding together the past and present into a hotpot of damn good vibes. Not one to shy away from a few surprises too, Mimi will have you in the palm of her hand in no time.

Set to descend on The Cliff Dive this weekend with her fellow head honcho Jade Zoe, Mimi and Jade are going to blow Sydney the fuck up. With SAL, LOTUS MOONCHILD, NES and SHANTAN WANTAN ICHIBAN also in tow, you can rest assured this is going to be one of this year's biggest and best parties.
