Live Review: King IV shows what she's made of with her hard-hitting guest mix

Melbourne artist KING IV worked hard last year. After dropping her debut single at the end of 2016 with "No. One", she delivered again and again in 2017 with two new singles, a remix EP and a few killer shows as well including LISTEN OUT. Now she's set to put what she's learned into practice, and make 2018 her own.

After making serious waves by teaming up with RROMARIN for 'We Can Get It', and then working with the likes of DONATACHI, OK SURE and more to remix her track, King IV proved she was a serious contender when it comes to genre-pushing production and songwriting. Her fierce and intimidating aesthetic further amplifies this, as she sends off a clear message not to fuck with her. In fact, this attitude is something she applies in all aspects of her work, from her releases to her live shows - she was taken to hospital after her Melbourne Music Week showcase after going a little too hard and dislocating her knee.

It's because of this that we named her one of our Artists to Watch in 2018, and why we are incredibly excited to have her on guest mix duties for this week on our FBi Radio show. Once again, King IV proves she's one to keep an eye on with this eclectic mix, featuring the likes of icons such as M.I.A and MYKKI BLANCO, while going hard from the get go.
