We last had the Sydney boys of HUMAN MOVEMENT on for a guest mix back in 2016, back when our radio show was on FBi Radio's digital dance station, FBi Click.

They were catching the eye of Skrillex, receiving love from huge brands like Spotify and H&M, and were blowing up on the blogosphere. What it was that caught our attention is their ability to be fluid - they moved effortlessly through genres like techno, house, minimal and bass.

Fast forward to 2018, and the boys have released a solid number of tracks and EP's, honing their sound and becoming known not only within Australia, but globally for their choice selections and thoughtful production.

They self-released their bass-heavy debut EP Dancing Room with their track '5am' being premiered by Anna Lunoe on Beats Radio 1. They then went on to explore other sounds on their Subcity EP, furthered their curiosity by fusing RnB sounds on their Kitsuné release 'Right Thang', delved into the world of technically challenging dance cuts with their 'I Need' EP and in 2018, they're continuing to evolve.

Their latest feat is a massive one - their two-track release 'Run It By Me'/'Help A Brother Out' is out via the hugely seminal Defected Records. Showcasing more of those silky RnB vibes they similarly brought to 'Right Thang' (even featuring the same vocalist - Eliot Porter), there's a real contrast on this release that truly shows their versatility. 'Run It By Me' is lounge electronic music at its best - it builds as the track progresses and never falters in its ability to captivate. Quite contrastively, 'Help A Brother Out' is a heavy-hitting dancefloor jam that you'll most definitely be hearing out at 3am. It's a 'hands in the air' affair and it works hard to command your attention.

In 2017, the boys put on three huge shows in Sydney and hosted an immense amount of local talent, as well as giving them the opportunity to experiment with live setups and explore their artillery of unreleased repertoire. They've since gone on to play shows in Ibiza, arguably the world's dance music capital.

And in 2018 to continue the celebration, Human Movement will embark on a European summer tour performing in clubs in Ibiza, Defected Festival in Croatia, France and more.

There's no sign that these boys are slowing down, and if anything, their momentum continues to increase which is why we're so stoked to have them back on the show for another guest mix. You can catch the mix below, or tune into our radio show this Saturday from 5-6pm on FBi Radio to hear it live.
