Becoming a premier event in the Brisbane and surrounding areas' social calendar, the third instalment of ARCADIA FESTIVAL is quickly approaching. A boutique festival about three hours drive from Brisbane set in Goomburra Valley, Arcadia is a festival for music lovers by music lovers. Helmed by a team of local Brisbane heroes, it's quickly becoming much loved in the community and its reputation as an idyllic escape with an always exceptional line up is now starting to make itself known across the country.
With a focus on the experience as a whole, their aim is to put on an event that won't break the bank while opening punters, old and new, to new experiences. Once again putting together an exceptional line up of local, national and international talent, this year's Arcadia is guaranteed to be its best yet. The two day event will include sets from MAY LYN and OK SURE, as well as ROZA TERENZI, STEVIE, EMMA STEVENSON, LONDON TOPAZ, PENELOPE TWO-FIVE, KEELAN MAK, many more. Berlin duo FROM will also be performing at the festival, and as if we needed any more reasons to be extremely excited for this event, we've got them on board for guest mix duties this weekend.
Formed in an apartment in Schöneberg, Berlin in 2015, FROM delves into moody club territory with a refined approach. Layering synths and raw cut drums, the duo have put together a half hour mix to really show us what they've got. You can catch the mix below or tune in to our very own radio show this Saturday on FBi Radio from 5-6. That’s 94.5 DAB+ for you Sydney folk, or fbiradio.com to stream it online.
