Anyone who recognises the names of brothers Slava and Leonard Grigoryan needs no convincing of the duo’s masterful understanding of the classical guitar.

For those not so familiar, this could be an ideal place to start acquainting themselves. This Time is an album that freely and gracefully moves between different points on its own continuum, between the elegantly simple and the incredibly sophisticated. Listening to the Grigoryan Brothers’ latest should be an immersive experience, free of distraction and care in order to let the ideas, sounds and emotions really settle in.
