There are days when we need to be reminded that there's beauty in the world – for those instances let A Hero's Lie be your soundtrack. Starting off with Everlasting's gorgeous guitar and soft vocals, the album is full of moments that tug the heartstrings. While the album falls into a little lull around the halfway point, it picks up again in time for the title track, Post Card and Fate, all of which display the Reverend's ability to convey emotional subtlety. A great little listen.
