Your New Favourite Comedian is actually a bit of an old favourite. This is Southern's tenth solo show and, as ever, it's a solid, no-gimmicks hour of whip-quick stand-up. Warming up with some interaction and liberal use of his That's A Fun Fact jingle, Southern segues into engaging anecdotes, recounting the boozy wine tour on which he met his wife and recalling earlier careers as a theatre educator and wine waiter. To sum up in comedy sommelier vernacular: a cheeky number that only gets better with age.
