"They actually say something while making you jiggle and bop around on the balls of your feet in glee."

More Good Boy More Good Boy

If you're thinking it's time to move on from surf-riff-driven indie-pop, don't turn your nose up just yet.

Good Boy are anything but a carbon copy of the current trend. They actually say something while making you jiggle and bop around on the balls of your feet in glee. An ever so slight tang of Britpop falls through Rian King's carefree vocals, especially on S.O.G.K. Sunny guitars (yeah yeah, we know it's overused) and laid-back rhythms (bring on the indie cliches) cruise through this splendid five-track EP, and if you're stuck playing eenie meenie miney mo between your fave songs, pop on their addictive lead single Poverty Line and saunter into summer.
