More Gin Wigmore More Gin Wigmore

Wigmore continues her musical evolution as she sheds old skin and into new stylistic exploration, vivid storytelling and a darker edge.

Lead track, New Rush may still carry some of the former Wigmore folk-pop stylings, but from there she plunges through a mix of shoegaze rock, alternative country, R&B and neo-soul, though little can detract from the vocal performance, her gravel and smoke voice firing into 24 and This Old Heart for what can only be her best release to date.
