GhostpoetA unique voice in British music and just about everywhere else for that matter, Obaro Ejimiwe aka Ghostpoet's fourth album finds him delving into an increasingly dark territory.
The disturbing scenes are made all the more compelling with some occasionally lush touches, such as the elegant strings on the otherwise suspicious Dopamine If I Do. There are some great understated performances, productions and moods, such as on the conscience-wrestling Trouble + Me, which are occasionally spoilt by clunky choruses and obvious lyrics. History might remember Ejimiwe's fourth album as something of a missed opportunity.
