It almost feels like yesterday when Gardens & Villa gave us the light and breezy synth-heavy grooves of last year's Dunes.

The Californian band can't hide their proclivity for Balearic chill. Underscoring this album, it acts as ballast as they attempt to layer indie pop vibes into the mix and craft more conventional songs themed around a certain uneasiness about technology and how modern life is kind of rubbish. This album takes time to blossom, flowering when they leave behind the uneasiness of Maximize Results and find bliss in Paradise.
