A surprisingly fresh listen.

It’s easy to understand why My Chemical Romance fans have been all over this project since it was announced. The band’s guitarist mixes what he learned with the group with what he’s learned solo and it makes for a surprisingly fresh listen.

Opener All I Want Is Nothing is a frenetic piece of fuzzy punk, while Blood Infections has that instantly recognisable desperation that early era MCR fans will be losing themselves over. Unfortunately, slower tracks such as Stage 4 Fear Of Trying don’t quite live up to the frenzied fun of the opening songs.
