Live Review: FREE DL: A-Trak 'Fool's Gold Radio January 2013' Mix

Have you ever seen A-TRAK perform live? I have. He played a joint set with Mark Ronson and they kind of dj battled it out on stage for three hours on a Wednesday night. Except that it felt like a Saturday night.

And I felt really really high. Except that I’d only had one beer and half a packet of m&m’s. And I can say with absolute certainty that these Noisey Specials House Party videos are not exaggerations of how it feels to be at an A-TRAK gig. He is more than a man with big headphones and a good record collection.

He knows how to get a party started and then keep it going all night long. He knows how to get even the reluctant dancer busting out on the floor. He understands that fickle balance between playing too the crowd and playing for the crowd and he does it all while looking really really good.
